“ Just want to shout out to Lazy Loaf & Kettle and say it’s always consistent and wholesome. We went there a lot as a treat when my dad was in hospital earlier in the year. Then my girls and I went back on a whim before we went home after an appt today. So happy we did. I ordered the hot chicken, which came with a mango habanero - hot damn, it has a gentle karate kick to the mouth. The avocado was a gentle rounding to the house kick, yet it came with all the generous hot kettle toppings that kinda splooged out the side of the sando with every bite. Not their fault the flavor pack this bad boy. I didn’t know what to expect was pleasantly accosted. I got the Caesar salad as a side and they make their own dressing. Almost licked the plate. My kiddos generously shared the grilled cheese and side Mac and cheese because… calcium? Wasn’t a crumb or carb to be spared. Well done. ”
Claire and Matt Cholak“ Stopped in to try their submission for the YYC Hot Chocolate Fest and it did not disappoint!! Their Carrot Cake Hot Chocolate was my absolute favorite out of all the YYC Fest submissions I've tried! I would absolutely love to come back and try their food as well! ”
Emily“ Stopped by Lazy Loaf & Kettle for a casual lunch and had the grilled Reuben while my daughter enjoyed a grilled cheese. The Reuben was flavorful and satisfying, and my daughter liked her sandwich too. However, I found the overall pricing a bit steep for what the place offers in terms of atmosphere and service. It’s a cozy spot, but the value didn’t quite match the cost for us. Still worth a visit if you're in the area and craving a classic sandwich, but manage expectations when it comes to pricing. ”
Vinaya Shrestha“ I hope this is constructive, $35 with tip for 2 sandwiches and it’s no bigger than the toothpick that holds it together. I’m fine with the price, but I expect it to look bigger than a slider. Please don’t prioritize skip the dishes orders over the people waiting in line. I’m a fan of lazy loaf, have been for decades, I hope you keep me coming back for decades more. ”
Thomas Elgie“ Best sandwiches in the city! The homemade bread, the generous quantities and ability to build your own is consistently and fantastically tasty. Great selection of drinks and baked goods as well. Be prepared for a wait, but it’s worth it. Service is friendly but nothing amazing. Very cute and quaint when dining in. Lots of character which makes it homey and relaxing. Price is reasonable, a tad higher than I’d like. But the quality and quantity makes up for it. ”
Joyce Humphrey“ I had a great breakfast here. I ate the Ham Eggs Benny and it was delicious. The coffee was also really good and their fruit was super fresh! I'll be back for sure! ”
